Other Actions in Packages

The packing slip, amending a box before it goes, and finding the ones that never shipped.

Most of the value of the packages list is in what it shows you have NOT done yet.

The Packages list showing twenty-five packages with their status, carrier, tracking number and shipment date, every row against a sales order and a named UK trade customer.
Status, carrier and shipment date together. A package with no shipment date has not left the building.

On one package

ActionWhen it is available

On the list

FilterWhat it answers
Not shippedWhich boxes are sitting on the bench. This is the important one
By customerEverything waiting to go to one address, which may be worth combining
By carrierWhat is going out with whom
By source documentWhether an order is fully packed yet

The one to watch

Packed and not shipped is stock that reads as yours, sits in your valuation, and is physically committed to somebody else. A box more than a day or two old is either waiting on a carrier or has been forgotten.
