Introduction - Overview

The dashboard Worklink opens on, and what the whole depot looks like at a glance.

The Overview is the first screen an administrator sees, and it answers one question: what needs you today. Everything on it is a widget, and every widget is a shortcut into the module that owns the data.

The whole Worklink Overview, headed Welcome, Eleanor above the date Thursday, September 10, 2026, with a Rotherham location picker, a This Month period selector, a refresh button, an edit button and a blue Widgets button. Widgets are arranged in a grid: Today's Snapshot with a donut reading 13 Total and a legend of Checked In 11, Checked Out 0, Yet to Check In 0, Late 1, On Leave 1 and Absent 1; Department Turnout with a full bar per department; Presence showing 11 live and naming people with their check-in times; Shift Coverage with a timeline across five shifts; Pending Approvals with Review buttons; and along the foot an Attendance Calendar, On Leave Today naming Hazel Bidwell, and New Hires.
One depot, one day. Every panel is a widget you can turn off, move or resize.

This is not the same screen as My Attendance

Both open on a greeting, both carry a Widgets button, and they are entirely different things. The distinction is whose day you are looking at.

The controls at the top right of the Overview: a location picker reading Rotherham Central Warehouse, a period selector reading This Month, a circular refresh arrow, a pencil icon, and a blue pill button labelled Widgets.
Five controls. The pencil moves widgets around; the blue pill decides which ones exist.
