Read the Trash list

What each column in Trash tells you, the order items appear in, and why a deleted folder's files are listed too.

Trash lists deleted folders first, then deleted files, each group with the most recently deleted at the top. The count beside the heading covers both.

Columns in Trash
FieldWhat it does
NameThe item's name. Under a folder, whether it was a personal or a team folder; under a file, who uploaded it.
TrashedThe day it was deleted. The time limit counts from this date.
SizeThe file's size, Link for a saved web link, and a dash for a folder.
RestorePuts the item back where it was.
DeleteRemoves the item for good, after asking you to confirm.
The right-hand side of Trash: columns headed Trashed and Size, then four rows. The Trade Show 2025 folder was trashed Aug 19, 2026 and shows a dash for its size; Scan_0034.pdf Sep 8, 2026 at 31.8 KB; 2027 Budget - Draft v2.xlsx Sep 3, 2026 at 6.8 KB; Carrier Rate Card 2025 - OLD.xlsx Aug 27, 2026 at 5.3 KB. Each row ends in Restore and a red Delete.
Every row carries its own Restore and Delete, so nothing needs selecting first.

A deleted folder brings its contents

Deleting a folder sends everything inside it to Trash as well, so the folder and each of its files are listed separately, all with the same date.

The Trash list, from the Name column down. The Trade Show 2025 personal folder sits at the top. Below it Scan_0034.pdf, 2027 Budget - Draft v2.xlsx, Carrier Rate Card 2025 - OLD.xlsx by Callum Aitken and Board Pack - Q2 2026 - DRAFT v1.pdf, and at the bottom Stand Plan - Southern Manufacturing 2025.pdf and Trade Show Leads 2025.csv, the two files that were inside Trade Show 2025.
Stand Plan and Trade Show Leads were inside Trade Show 2025. Restoring the folder brings both back with it.
