Work with several items at once

Tick several files and folders, then move them or send them to Trash together from the bar at the foot of the list.

Moving a dozen files one by one is slow. Tick them instead, and a bar appears at the foot of the list that moves or deletes the whole selection in one go.

Select the items

Tick the checkbox at the start of each row you want. Files and folders can be mixed. In the Grid view, the checkbox appears at the top left of a card when you point at it.

The Board Packs folder with two of its four rows ticked: Board Pack - Q2 2026.pdf and Board Pack - Q1 2026.pdf. The Minutes folder and Management Accounts - August 2026.xlsx above them are not ticked.
Two board packs ticked, ready to move together.

Move or delete them together

  1. Look at the bar that appears at the foot of the list. Its left end counts what you've ticked, such as 2 selected; its right end holds the buttons.

The right-hand end of the pale orange bar at the foot of the list: a Move button, a red Delete button, and a cross that clears the selection.
  2. Select Move and choose a destination, then Move here. Or select Delete, then Move to Trash to confirm.

Either way the selection clears when the job is done. To give up without doing anything, select the cross at the right-hand end of the bar.
