Technicians

Which of your users actually do repair work, the skills each one carries, and why the assign dropdown on a ticket is shorter than your user list.

Technicians is a Repairs-only screen and the answer to "why can I not assign this ticket to her?". It is the list of people who do repair work, drawn from your users, and only these people appear in the assign dropdown on a ticket.

Go to SettingsTechnicians. One tab, All Technicians, showing active and inactive together.

The All Technicians tab of Technicians in Repairs Settings, headed Technicians above the line Choose which users do repair work. Only these people appear in the assign dropdown on a ticket, with a blue Technician button at the right. A table with columns NAME, SKILLS, STATUS and ACTIONS lists six people with their email addresses and skill chips: Callum Aitken with Electrical, Motor Rewind and Inverter Drives; Dermot Lynch with Pneumatics, Gearboxes and Alignment; Graham Whitfield with Hydraulics, Hose Assembly and Pressure Testing; Nadia Osei with Valves & Actuation, Seat Lapping and Test Certification; Priya Raithatha with Rotating Equipment, Bearings and Vibration Analysis; and Sian Pritchard with Diagnostics, PPE Inspection and LOLER. All six are marked Active.
Skills are chips on the row, so who can take a job is readable without opening anybody.
