Access TeamEmail

How you get into TeamEmail, and what decides which mail you can see once you are there.

Open TeamEmail from the app switcher at the top left of any SorviAI screen. Whether you see anything once you are in depends on two separate things, and it is worth knowing which is which.

The app switcher open over TeamEmail, headed My Apps, showing the apps this account can reach as starred tiles: Finance, Inventory, TeamEmail highlighted as the current app, Repairs, Worklink, Nest and Storefront, above a Back to App Center link.
The switcher lists only the apps your account can reach. TeamEmail is highlighted as the one you are in.

What gets you in

Access to the app
Your administrator gives you TeamEmail alongside the other apps in the suite. Without it, TeamEmail does not appear in the app switcher at all.
A role within it
Admin or User. Both work conversations; only Admin manages shared inboxes, teammates, and the team's shared tags, templates and signatures.

What decides the mail you see

Access to the app is not the same as access to mail. Two more things govern that, and they are set per mailbox rather than per person.

Your own connected mailbox
Nobody sees it but you. Until one is connected, TeamEmail has nothing of yours to show.
Membership of a shared inbox
A shared address is invisible to anyone who is not a member of it. Being an administrator does not put you in one; being added does.

If something is missing

An empty sidebar almost always means no mailbox is connected yet, not that something is broken. A shared address you expected to see means you are not a member of it. Both are fixed by an administrator, from Settings.
