Default From

Choose which mailbox a new email starts from.

Left alone, a new email goes out from whichever inbox you are working in at the time. Turn this on when you would rather one address were always chosen for you.

The Default From screen in TeamEmail Settings, described as choosing which email address is pre-selected when composing new emails. A card headed Default From Email explains that when enabled, new emails will always use your chosen address as the default From. Its toggle is off, and a note below reads that TeamEmail is currently using the active inbox's email when composing, and to enable this to set a fixed default.
Turned off, as it ships. The note underneath says what happens while it stays off.

  1. Go to Settings > Default From.

  2. Turn on Default From Email.

  3. Choose the address every new email should start from.

Change the From mailbox on any individual email from within the composer at any time; this setting only decides what a new email opens with.
