# What my work is

Open, Later, Done and Drafts - the view that separates what needs you from everything else moving through your mailboxes.

My work sits at the top of the sidebar and holds only the conversations that are yours to act on, pulled out from every mailbox you can see so you never have to check them one by one.

**Video coming soon:** A tour of My work: Open, Later, Done and Drafts

## Open

Open is a master row rather than a list of its own: it's the sum of two rows nested underneath it, **Assigned to me** and **Subscribed**.

![TeamEmail open on Open, under My Work in the left sidebar, with Assigned to me and Subscribed nested beneath it and Later, Done and Drafts below that. The message list is grouped by day - Pinned, Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week, August - with one row pinned at the top from Eleanor Whitfield tagged Quote, followed by rows from Aidan Loxley, Callum Tindall, Doreen Kasprzak, Frank Iliffe, Nasir Iqbal and Roger Attlee, each carrying a sender avatar, a subject line, a short preview and coloured tags such as Urgent, Warranty and Parts. No message is open, so the right-hand pane reads Select an email to read.](https://www.sorviai.com/help/teamemail/my-work/open.png)

*Open with nothing filtered: everything assigned to you or that you're subscribed to, newest first.*

> **Note:**
>
> Open's total is Assigned to me plus Subscribed added together, not the number of conversations that appear in at least one of them. A conversation assigned to you that you're also subscribed to counts in both.

## Find your way around My work

- **Assigned to me**: Every conversation put in your name, by you or by a teammate.
- **Subscribed**: Conversations you're following without owning them.
- **Later**: Conversations you've snoozed to come back to.
- **Done**: Conversations you've closed out.
- **Drafts**: Every email you've started and not yet sent, across every mailbox.

## Reading the badges

A conversation with unread activity carries an amber dot, and Open itself carries an amber count in brackets beside its indigo total: `12 (3)` means twelve open, three unread since you last looked. Later and Done carry the same amber dot with no count, since there's nothing to count until you open the folder.
