# Done

Close a conversation out when it doesn't need you any more.

> **Before you start:**
>
> A conversation open in the reading pane.

- Open the conversation.
- Select **Done** in the conversation toolbar.

The conversation leaves Open and sits under **Done**. Marking a conversation done doesn't delete it or remove it from the mailbox it belongs to: it only clears it from your working list.
