# Navigating Storefront

The tab bar, the All Modules menu, the search box and the settings rail, and the two layouts Storefront can wear.

Storefront opens on Products, with a tab bar across the top and one button that reaches everything else. Learn those two and every module afterwards works the same way.

*The header and the tab bar, which are the same in every SorviAI app.*

## The header

The bar along the very top belongs to SorviAI rather than to Storefront, and it is the same in every app.

- **The grid of dots**: Far left. Opens the app switcher, listing the apps granted to you, with a way back to the App Center.
- **The app pill**: Next to the logo, reading Storefront. It names the app you are in.
- **The app icons**: A short row of the apps you use most, one select away.
- **The search box**: Searches the screen you are on. On Products it reads Search products.
- **The gear**: Opens Storefront Settings, which is a separate rail rather than a screen inside the catalogue.
- **Your initials**: Far right. Your profile, the theme, and signing out.

## The tab bar and All Modules

The row under the header holds the screens you have open, each with a close cross, and **All Modules** at the far right.

- Select a tab to return to a screen you already opened.
- Select **All Modules** to see everything Storefront holds, whether or not it has a tab.
- Select a module in the list. It opens as a new tab and joins the row.

All Modules also keeps the modules you opened recently and the ones you starred, so the screens you live in stay one select away.

## What Storefront holds

- **Products**: The catalogue, with the publish state, stock and price of every item.
- **Collections**: Smart and manual groups, each showing how many products are in it.
- **Enquiries**: Offers sent from a product page, filtered by status.
- **Online Store**: A group rather than a screen. It holds Pages, Theme, Navigation and Homepage.

## Two layouts

Storefront can be laid out in two ways, and the choice is yours rather than your administrator's. In the modern layout the modules sit in the tab bar at the top, which is what these guides picture. In the classic layout they sit in a sidebar down the left instead. Nothing moves between the two, and no screen is available in one and missing from the other.

> **Tip:**
>
> Every list in Storefront works the same way: a search box, filter pills, sortable columns and a pager at the foot. Learning the Products list teaches you the others.

## Storefront Settings

The gear opens a rail of its own, and closing it with the cross at the top right puts you back where you were. **General**, **Domains**, **Markets** and **Variant Options** are Storefront's own screens; **Users & Roles** and **Payment Terms** above them are shared with the rest of the suite.

> **Note:**
>
> The rail lists only the settings screens your role can open, so a shorter rail than the one described here is a permissions matter rather than a missing feature.
