# Integrations

Your own shipping carrier accounts and your own Stripe account, connected to Finance so labels, rates and payment events come back to you.

Integrations connect accounts you already hold elsewhere. Nothing here is a SorviAI service being switched on: it is your carrier account and your payment provider being told to talk to Finance.

Go to **Settings > Finance > Integrations**. Two tabs: **Shipping** and **Payments**.

## Shipping

![The Shipping tab of Integrations, headed Shipping above the line Connect a shipping carrier to create shipments, fetch rates and track deliveries from SorviAI. A SHIPPING section headed Connect your shipping carrier accounts holds three cards: DHL Express, described as International express shipping with real-time tracking; FedEx, described as Global shipping solutions with overnight delivery; and UPS, described as Reliable package delivery worldwide. Each card carries the carrier's logo.](https://www.sorviai.com/help/settings/integrations-shipping.png)

*Each card opens a panel holding that carrier's own credentials and its sandbox switch.*

Three carriers, each a card that opens a configuration panel: **DHL Express**, **FedEx** and **UPS**. Connecting one lets Finance validate addresses, fetch rates, create labels and track a shipment once it has gone.

> **Before you start:**
>
> A business account with the carrier, and the API credentials from their developer portal. The panel links to the right portal for each one and lists what that carrier asks for.

*Common controls on a carrier panel*

> **Warning:**
>
> **Test in Sandbox before you switch to Production**
>
> A misconfigured carrier in production produces real labels at real cost. The environment is part of the configuration, so it is one switch to get wrong.

> **Note:**
>
> **The Shipping tab follows your shipping modules**
>
> Carrier credentials configure something that ships. With inventory modules turned off in Preferences, Finance has nothing to ship and the tab is not offered.

## Payments

One provider, **Stripe**, connected through Stripe Connect rather than by pasting API keys.

- **Go to Settings, Finance, Integrations, Payments.**
- **Select Connect with Stripe.**

You are taken to a page hosted by Stripe to sign in or create an account.
- **Authorise on Stripe's site, then come back.**

Your account is linked when you return.
- **Add the webhook signing secret.**

It is what lets Finance verify that an event genuinely came from Stripe.

The card then shows whether the account is **Connected**, whether the integration is **Active**, and whether it is in **Test** or **Live** mode. **Disconnect** revokes the link, and you can revoke it from your Stripe dashboard instead.

> **Note:**
>
> **Connecting Stripe does not start taking card payments**
>
> Collecting payments on invoices is not switched on yet, so no charges are taken today. The connection is the groundwork. When collection arrives, funds go straight to your own Stripe account: SorviAI never holds your money and never sees card details.

> **Tip:**
>
> **You are never asked for your Stripe API keys**
>
> Anything that asks you to paste a secret key into SorviAI is not this screen. Stripe Connect is the only route here, and you keep the ability to revoke it from either side.
